I had to make the preference card after I was done with the procedure. Anyways, the case went great & I actually really enjoyed it once I got used to working the robot & all the instruments. The tough part was not knowing what to expect, not knowing what to pull & not having a preference card.

In my class we had to write about the procedures we did. Everything from the name of the procedure, how we draped, basically everything on the preference card. I always got permission to take photos of setups & I kept the preference cards to study. I also made my own preference cards. The steps of the surgery, etc.

Previously, in 2018, I had the Essure procedure done in-office. When COVID hit, my surgery was put off since it was an elective surgery. Finally, in June, I was able to have my LAVH done and was able to start feeling normal again! It was extremely painful! I didn’t realize that there was Nickel in it & I am allergic to Nickel.
